6 more hours

The anticipation is killing me. I feel nervous, sad, and so much else. I'm doing some last minute emails, blog posts (lol, like I know what I'm doing), laundry, and trying to make sure I don't forget anything. Wow, I can't believe it's almost that time.

OK, seriously, I'm not blogging again until I get there. EEEHHHH!!!

I hope this works!!

So I've tried to log back into my blog from my laptop but couldn't. I finally logged in through the desktop. Why didn't I just try this earlier? Although, this will not help me in Spain, since I'm only taking my laptop. Hmmm?! Oh well, I hope Jay can fix it before I leave.

My flight departs at 7:50 tonight. I'm trying to clean a little before I go and do a load of laundry or two for Jay. I'm seriously going to miss him very much. I keep trying to spend time with the puppies because I'm going to miss them as well. However, they have no idea, so they just try to get away from me when I hug them. Dumb dogs!!

Trying to Blog

Ok, so I am rather confused on how to blog. I haven't figured out how to create a really nice blog page, since I don't like the template I chose. Either way, I'm planning on giving this a shot. I just wanted a way to communicate with my friends and family while I'm away in Spain. Hopefully, my blog will flourish and become a writing masterpiece. Although, I seriously doubt I will have more than 10 followers. Well here I go!

My flight for Spain leaves at 7:50 pm. I'm not feeling as nervous as I was last week. The bad feelings I had about the flight are pretty much gone and I'm now looking forward to being in a different country. I can't wait to get there and see the sights.

Jay helped me pack my luggage. I hope we didn't forget anything. All I have to do tomorrow is pack my laptop and gather my things. We are planning on spending the day together. Then he and my dad are taking me to the airport to see me off.

I'll be gone for 20 days. My itinerary includes Madrid, Portugal, and Florence, Italy. These trips are for the weekends. During the week, I will have to go to class to learn Spanish. I know, I know what you’re thinking, I already know Spanish. Even though, I understand Spanish and can speak it socially, I'm not proficient in Academic Spanish. In 20 days though, I think my fluency and proficiency will be a lot better.

This trip will be my first experience in Europe and I'm glad I can share it with my friends and family. Please feel free to post comments! I would love to hear from you!
